Styrene butadiene rubber 1502-SBR is made in Iran and Bandar Imam Petrochemical.
The abbreviated SBR is Styrene Butadiene Rubber and is equivalent to Styrene Butadiene rubber. This polymer material has other names such as butadiene styrene resin, Buna S, 1 and 3-butadiene styrene copolymer, Europrene, Ameripol Synpol, Kralex, Plioflex, Polysar, Solprene, Nipol, and Copo Carbomix.
Styrene butadiene rubber has lower mechanical properties than NR and does not crystallize due to traction like NR. Therefore, it is weaker than natural rubber, even if reinforced with soot or other materials.
The final form of soluble styrene butadiene rubber rarely contains more than 2% of non-rubber material in its structure, while the emulsion type may contain a maximum of 5% emulsifier or soap and a maximum of 10% non-rubber material.
